A previous owner had the serial# painted on the front of the case, which detracts from the appearance but, on the other hand, it makes identification easy Perhaps it can be removed, if desired. A Bach 7C mouthpiece is included and a case in good condition, inside and out. All in all, this is a fine vintage instrument and should provide playing pleasure for some lucky bidder. It’s probably not an issue for most players as the player soon develops a feel for how far to depress the trigger. I tried to find a suitable replacement at a local repair shop but they had nothing. It’s hard to see where it goes because it’s quite small. The only defect I see is the stop screw for the#1 trigger is missing. Valve action is quiet and smooth and tone is mellow. As you can see from the photos, the 10-10 has both 1 st and 3 rd valve slide triggers and both function smoothly. The 10-10 model is the predecessor of the International and Sovereign, also great horns. The finish is polished raw brass and is in good condition except for some slight indication of dent removal on the bell tube near the crook but it doesn’t really detract much from the overall looks of the horn. I believe this horn was built in the 60’s although I wasn’t able to come with an exact year. before receiving surprisingly any negative or neutral feed-back! Really full and round easy to play and it is the top of this very well-known Brand. they are perfectly functioning- smoothly, with a very good compression. Its brass pistons valves are in a really good shape and have been silvercoated sometimes ago for a perfect compression. It has some tiny use tracks we consider it is in a very good shape. which dates its manufacturing in 1884* This cornet is silvercoated.

Though case is not perfect, the interior is in fairly good shape with the pieces that hold the compartment door shut intact. Also the original 5* Besson Mouthpiece as well. The LYRE& also the Lyre Holder screw is still in place.
So COOL ORIGINALS with this are the Finger Ring and screw for 3rd tuning slide. Bottom 4 feet are missing and just the rods that held them there are still intact(see photo) Must have been a brittle plastic. Latches are hard to open and close, but will latch to keep it closed. The main and 1st are froze up to me pulling them out by hand. 3rd and 2nd valve tuning slide are moving. Sounds like it has good compression as the 3rd valve tuning slide makes a nice pop when pulled out. Valve pistons are moving free and springing back very well. Looks to have been bent at some point as the lead pipe is unsoldered from the bracket.
